Those students wishing to be leaders put themselves forward to run for elected positions that include School Captain, House Captains, Cultural and Sports Captains, Class Captains & Vice Captains etc. ! The act of putting your name forward is in itself, a powerful moment of self-belief and bravery. Next, the aspiring student leaders must prepare and present an appeal, or manifestos, on what they would contribute to school life. These manifestos are performed in person to fellow students primarily in their classrooms, but also sometimes to the whole school community at morning assembly, allowing candidates to meet, speak to, and connect with their peers. It is a platform where action meets ideas, and where students learn about a clear, convincing, and supported delivery.
