About The Event
The ceremony was conducted in the esteemed presence of Rev. Fr. Melvin Parambukattil, Principal, Rev. Sr. Baby Rose, Vice Principal (SFS Block), along with coordinators, teachers, staff and students.
The programme began around 8.00 am with a prayer song, invoking God’s blessings upon the newly elected student leaders as they prepared to take on their responsibilities for the academic session 2026–27. The event marked the culmination of the student leadership selection process. A day prior to the declaration, the aspiring candidates presented their manifestos before the morning assembly, sharing their vision, sense of responsibility and commitment towards the student community. Today’s ceremony officially declared and invested the selected student leaders with their respective responsibilities.
The occasion formally introduced the SFS Prefectorial Board 2026–27, with the following students being entrusted with key leadership roles:
The newly elected leaders were formally invested with badges and sashes by the Principal & Vice Principal, symbolising the trust, responsibility and commitment associated with their positions.
This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, during which the student leaders solemnly pledged to uphold the values, discipline and integrity of the institution, and to carry out their duties with sincerity, dedication and a spirit of service.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Melvin Parambukattil, the Principal, encouraged the young leaders to lead by example and reminded them that leadership is rooted in responsibility, humility and service to others. The ceremony was a proud and memorable moment for the school community, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing confident, responsible and value-based student leadership.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem around 8.30 am, marking the beginning of a new chapter of student leadership at the SFS Block.
