About The Event
An engaging and informative interactive session took place at SFS Guwahati on 7th February 2024, where distinguished guests, Brigadier Dinar Dighe, NCC Guwahati Group Commander and Colonel Arvind Singh Thakur, Commanding Officer of 1st Assam Battalion NCC visited to interact with a group of NCC girls band students. The students had recently showcased their exceptional talent by participating in the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, Delhi. The session began with a prayer song post which Rev. Fr. George Thomas welcomed the esteemed guests and felicitated them.
The primary objective of the interactive session was to provide the NCC girls band students with an opportunity to share their experiences from the Republic Day Parade and to gain insights and guidance from the esteemed guests. The Brigadier and Colonel aimed to inspire and motivate the young performers while imparting valuable lessons from their own military experiences.
The session, marked by discussions, questions, and motivational talks, served as a platform for inspiration and guidance. Colonel and Brigadier's insights emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and leadership in shaping the future of the youth. Their presence not only encouraged the students to strive for excellence but also highlighted the strong bond between the armed forces and educational institutions in fostering patriotism and leadership qualities among the youth.
