About The Event
The session began with a prayer and was attended by Rev. Fr. Melvin PK, Principal, Coordinators, Teachers, and students. Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Melvin encouraged students to remain curious, think beyond classroom learning, and develop a scientific mindset that promotes exploration and discovery.
The session was conducted by Dr. Geetanjali Sethi, Professor of Physics and Dean (Research), St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. An eminent physicist and cosmologist, Dr. Sethi shared valuable insights on topics related to space, astronomy, dark matter, dark energy, cosmology, and recent scientific discoveries that continue to shape our understanding of the universe.
As a token of appreciation, Rev. Fr. Melvin PK felicitated Dr. Sethi for her valuable presence and contribution. Students showed immense interest throughout the session and actively engaged with the speaker as various fascinating aspects of the universe and astronomy were discussed.
