The Leadership training for the Student Council of SFS Guwahati commenced punctually at 8:30 AM with a melodic prayer song, setting a harmonious tone for the day ahead. Welcoming remarks followed as participants gathered to embark on a journey of learning and growth.
The highlight of the morning was the felicitation of the esteemed resource person, Mr. Anjan Chowdhury, Director & founder - Skillfinity. He is a Senior impaneled faculty at the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship and a Personality Development Life Coach. Mr. Chowdhury's presence added gravitas to the event, symbolizing the significance of the leadership training for the newly elected Student Council members.
At 8:40 AM, Rev. Father George Thomas, the Principal of SFS Guwahati, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of effective leadership and the role of the student council in shaping the school's culture and ethos. His words resonated with the participants, inspiring them to embrace their leadership roles with dedication and integrity.
The first session by the Resource Person commenced at 8:45 AM, delving into key principles and practices of effective leadership. Participants actively engaged in discussions, sharing insights and perspectives on leadership in a school setting.
The training resumed at 10:15 AM after a short break with the second session led by the Resource Person. This session focused on practical strategies for fostering teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills among student council members where some activity was conducted where they understood the importance of team work.
As the training drew to a close, Julianne S Deka, the Head Girl delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks at 11:55 AM, expressing gratitude to all participants and facilitators for their invaluable contributions to the training program. Her words encapsulated the spirit of camaraderie and collaboration that characterized the day's proceedings.
