About The Event
In the spirit of leadership and responsibility, SFS Guwahati conducted its 'Investiture Ceremony' on the 3rd of May, 2024, heralding the formation of a new Student Council for the session 2024-25. The morning assembly at both SFS Block and Mermier Block buzzed with excitement as the names of the newly elected members were announced.
Under the guidance of our esteemed Principal, Rev. Fr. George Thomas, and Academic Director, Dr. Sangeeta Bharali Datta, badges and sashes were bestowed upon the deserving individuals, symbolizing their roles and responsibilities within the Student Council. With the recitation of the 'School Oath', each student pledged their dedication to upholding the values and traditions of our institution.
Addressing the assembly, our Principal emphasized the importance of integrity and diligence in fulfilling their duties. Simultaneously, Vice Principal Sr. Josna and Coordinator Sabari Prkayastha conducted a similar ceremony for the Junior Head Boy and Junior Head Girl along with other Class Captains at the Mermier Block, instilling the same sense of pride and responsibility in the elected members.
