SFS Guwahati proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of its students during the “Felicitation of Toppers – CBSE Class X & XII Board Examinations 2026” held on 26th May 2026 at the Assembly Ground, SFS Block. The special ceremony commenced at around 7:55 AM, bringing together the school management, teachers, parents, and students to honour academic excellence and perseverance.
The event began with a warm welcome by the student anchors, who highlighted the significance of dedication, discipline, and resilience in achieving success. The gathering was then spiritually enriched with a soulful Prayer Song, setting a meaningful tone for the celebration.
Adding vibrancy and grandeur to the occasion, the SFS Girls’ Band presented an impressive band display, creating an atmosphere of pride and celebration.
The highlight of the programme was the felicitation of the Rank Holders of the CBSE Class X and XII Board Examinations 2026, conducted by the respected Provincial, Rev. Fr. George Thomas, along with the Principal, Rev. Fr. Melvin Parambukattil.
Among the achievers of CBSE Class X, Parismita Das emerged as the School Topper with an outstanding 98.4%, followed closely by Harshita Basak securing 98.2%. The third position was jointly held by Anshikha Jha, Jenny Bakliwal, and Jyotirupa Bhuyan, each scoring 98%.
In the CBSE Class XII Board Examination, Shristi Sharma from the Humanities Stream secured the School Topper position with 97%. The second rank was jointly secured by Milind Sarma, Anandita Kalita, and Anusha Borthakur, while Chinggouhoih Valte and Nazneen Khatoon secured the third rank.
The celebration further recognised students scoring 90% and above, who were felicitated by the Vice-Principals, Rev. Sr. Baby Rose and Rev. Fr. Sibin VA, acknowledging their hard work and commitment to academic excellence.
A special announcement during the event brought added joy to the achievers. The school declared admission fee concessions for meritorious Class X students continuing their education at SFS Guwahati. The Class X School Topper was awarded a 100% concession in Class XI admission fees, while students securing 95% and above would receive a 50% concession, and those scoring 90% to 94.8% would receive a 25% concession, adjusted against quarterly fee payments.
The gathering was further inspired by a heartfelt address by Shristi Sharma, the Class XII School Topper, who shared her journey, reflections, and words of encouragement for fellow students. The programme also featured a melodious song performance by Debraj Sapkata, adding warmth and celebration to the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. George Thomas delivered an inspiring message, motivating students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to excellence in all walks of life.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Provincial, Principal, Vice-Principals, teachers, parents, and students for their support and contribution. The programme came to a close with the National Anthem, leaving behind a spirit of inspiration, pride, and celebration.
