The 4th CBSE Sahodaya General Body Meeting was held at SFS Guwahati on 14th June 2024, bringing together Principals from all CBSE schools for a significant discussion on various crucial topics. The meeting commenced from 4:00 PM with a warm welcome address that set a positive tone and emphasized the importance of collaboration and shared vision among the CBSE schools. Dr. Bandana Baruah presented a comprehensive progress report, highlighting the achievements and ongoing projects of the past year, including various academic and co-curricular activities, student performance metrics, and improvements in infrastructure and teaching methodologies.
Following this, there was an in-depth discussion on the layout and finalization of the new Sahodaya journal named ‘Rising Together.’ The journal aims to showcase collaborative efforts, innovative practices, and success stories from different schools. The participants provided suggestions and reached a consensus on the design and content strategy. Another critical topic was the establishment of a core committee responsible for designing pre-board question papers. The general body members deliberated on teacher assignments, ensuring that experienced and skilled educators are involved to maintain high evaluation standards.
The meeting also covered plans for inviting top-performing students to the felicitation ceremony for AISSE/AISSCE toppers of 2024. The principals brainstormed ideas to make the event memorable and ensure these students are duly recognized and celebrated for their achievements. Additionally, dates and venues for the upcoming CBSE Sahodaya Sports and Literary Festival were fixed, considering logistical aspects to ensure maximum participation from the schools.
An engaging session was dedicated to a teacher exchange program focused on sharing best practices. This initiative aims to enhance teaching methods by learning from each other’s successful strategies and pedagogical innovations. The meeting also addressed financial aspects, including budget allocation, funding for upcoming projects, and the overall financial health of the Sahodaya group.
